Tipp City Emergency Services is accepting applications for; Firefighter/EMT’s of Operations with full-time employment and are classified civil service positions.
Vision Statement: The renowned leader in emergency services. The City of Tipp City will accept applications and conduct a lateral entry process to establish an eligibility list for full-time Firefighter-EMT Positions.
This Civil Service position has a starting wage of $23.51-$32.20 DOQ per hour and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
The applicant for Firefighter/EMT Positions must be currently certified as an Ohio Firefighter II, Ohio EMT-Basic with Paramedic preferred, and a minimum of one year’s experience up to the date of application. Applicants must be 18 years of age on the examination date and a high school graduate. Preferred qualifications include but are not limited to Paramedic, Inspector, HAZMAT Technician, Instructor, and/or additional fire certificates are highly encouraged to apply.

An employment application is available online at https://www.tippcityohio.gov/348/Human-Resources or may be obtained at the Tipp City Fire & Emergency Services, 520 W. Main Street, Tipp City, Ohio, daily between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
The completed application, cover letter, resume, copies of all certifications/qualifications and all supporting documentation must be returned to the Tipp City Fire & Emergency Services via email, to hallerc@tippcity.net or in person no later than 8 am on September 12, 2023. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered. The Fire & EMS lobby is open from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.
