Career Firefighter/ EMT or Paramedic Lateral and Entry Level
Hamilton Township Fire Rescue is an ISO Class 3 department protecting over 30,000 residents. In 2022 our members responded to over 3,100 calls with 2023 on pace to exceed 3,300 runs.
Current staffing levels are 7-9 personnel between two stations.
Salary Range (2024-2026 Union Contract):
• FF/EMT – 2024 $59,488 to $64,391
2025 $61,867 to $66,967
2026 $63,723 to $68,976
• FF/Medic – 2023 $68,032 to $74,846
2024 $73,170 to $79,335
2025 $76,097 to $82,508
2026 $78,379 to $84,984
• 2.5 Times Holiday Pay per holiday worked.
Lateral Entry:
Starting pay and vacation based on years of previous full-time service. Accrued sick-time up to two-hundred and forty (240) hours may be transferred from the previous employer.
Minimum Requirements:
• Must be a State of Ohio Firefighter 2.
• Must be a State of Ohio EMT-Basic and become a paramedic within 2 years of date of hire.
