Paramedic & Paramedic/ Firefighter
Metamora Amboy Fire Department
Under immediate supervision of a Lieutenant or Captain:
-Respond to 911 calls for emergency medical assistance, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or bandaging a wound
-Provide first-aid treatment or life support care to sick or injured patients
-Operate emergency medical services equipment, vehicles, apparatus, and the maintenance of such
-Performance hazardous tasks and skilled medical treatment under emergency conditions which may involve strenuous exertion under such handicaps as confined surroundings
-Maintain and Clean the Metamora Amboy Fire Department Building and grounds
-Perform other related duties as required/assigned Requirements:
-18 years of age or older
-Background Check
– clean record, No Felonies Current Physical and Drug Screen
-Maintain auto insurability under the township’s vehicle insurance policy
-Current Ohio certifications minimum EMT-Paramedic -NIMS 100 & 700
-Ohio Drivers license: must remain valid during employment, without record, no felony convictions or disqualifying criminal histories.
