LIBERTY TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT IS HIRING A FULL-TIME FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC! Liberty Township is located in southwest Ohio in the center of the fast-growing Cincinnati-Dayton metroplex. Located along I-75 with Cincinnati 20 miles to the south and Dayton 25 miles to the north, Liberty Township’s 28 square miles is home to 44,000 residents with a median age of 38 years old. The Liberty Township Fire Department (LTFD) is a combination of full-time/part-time firefighters and EMS providers. In 2023, the LTFD saw a total of 3,700 fire and EMS runs. Daily staffing is 18 with minimum staffing of 14.
Base Salary Information: Starting rate is $25.18 per hour; non-exempt. Applicants with full-time Firefighter/EMT service credit with a Village, City, Township or other public agency may start as high as $29.15 per hour.

Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited high school or G.E.D. Certification by the State of Ohio as a Fire Fighter Level II Certification by the State of Ohio as a Paramedic.
